You arrive to Kathmandu today. You will be welcomed at the airport by BEAT representative and then transferred to hotel. Try to manage your arrival time by the afternoon so that we can meet for an important trip briefing session in the evening. We will leave you with information about the trip briefing timing upon your arrival.

Day 1 Kathmandu – 1,350m

Day 2 Kathmandu Tour – 1,350m - B
Before heading to the mountains, you have a full day in Kathmandu to acclimatize for the higher elevation of the mountains. While in Kathmandu, you will be at the elevation of 1,350 meters above sea level. We are taking you for a full day exploration of the Kathmandu valley. Kathmandu valley is a rich place in cultural heritage wonders and we are going to show you around some of them. You will visit four of the heritage sites today - Swoyambhunath, Patan Durbar Square, Pashupatinath and Boudhanath. These sites are of historical, cultural and spiritual importance that will project the general overview of Kathmandu valley.

Day 3 Pokhara – 900m - B
We drive 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu to Pokhara today. The highway drive takes us past different towns and villages that give first hand glimpse of how rural Nepal looks like. It’s about seven hours of drive to Pokhara, the beautiful city of lakes. Once we check into hotel, we will have some time to go around the town and also for a peaceful walk on the lake shore.

Day 4 Pitam Deurali – 2,030m – B.L.D
We are setting our feet on the trail today. We drive to Kande for about an hour before starting the trekking adventure. We are trekking to Pitam Deurali via Australian Camp and Pothana. It’s a beautiful day walk today through forest and villages to the destination. We can enjoy view of the mountains in Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range of the Himalayas as we walk through the trail. Exploring life in the mountains while we walk through the trail is an incredible experience. We settle in a teahouse once we reach Pitam Deurali and relax. The journey today takes approximately six hours.

Day 5 Forest Camp – 2,550m – B.L.D
The second day of trekking takes us through the lush forested trail to Forest Camp to stay overnight today. Although the day doesn’t bring much of the Himalayan view, it is a beautiful nature walking day. Listening to the birds chirp, cicadas whistle and stillness of nature makes the day. Forest Camp is nestled on the lap of a green forested hill and casts a peaceful ambience of nature to soothe our tiredness of walking.The journey today takes approximately six hours.

Day 6 High Camp – 3,550m – B.L.D
It is another day of walking through forest and finally through the grassy slopes over 3,000 meters. After walking for about 2 hours through forested trail, we reach Low Camp and continue further towards Badal Danda to exit the lush forest trail and start on grassy area. Mt. Fishtail shows up close and our destination gets closer as we proceed further higher. When we reach the High Camp for our overnight stay, we will be at another spectacular place with view of mountains and wonderful surroundings. Yhe journey today takes approximately seven hours.

Day 7 Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500m) and Trek to Low Camp (2,990m) – B.L.D
We wake up early in the morning to go for a hike to the Mardi base camp that stands impressively at the elevation of 4,500 meters above sea level. Watching the sun rise over the Himalayas from the viewpoint is a fantastic experience and being at the base camp is just surreal.
Later, we walk back down to the High camp and continue further to Low camp after lunch. A total of 7 hours of walk today brings us unforgettable memory of the Himalayan walking adventure.

Day 8 Pokhara - 900m – B.L
This is the final and short walking day where we walk to Sidding village. A downhill walk to Sidding through beautiful forest takes us around 3 hours before we take a jeep ride back to Pokhara that takes another 2 hours.

Day 9 Kathmandu – 1,350m – B
We return back to Kathmandu today. We drive back through the same highway that we took earlier to go to Pokhara. We deserve an easy and relaxing time back in Kathmandu.

Day 10 Trip Concludes – B
All the services for the trip conclude today unless extended. If you are departing home or other destinations, we will transfer you to airport.
