Day one is your arrival day in Kathmandu. We will come to welcome you at the airport in Kathmandu and transfer you to the hotel. Upon reaching the hotel and checking in to the rooms, we will let you know about our trip briefing meeting.
It is an important meeting so, we will wait until everyone arrives if there are people flying in different flights for the trip on the same date. Anyway, you will get the information about the meeting time.
It is an acclimatization day as well as an exploration day in Kathmandu. You will also have the time to do last-minute preparation on this day if you need to.
After you take your breakfast, we will take you for a beautiful sightseeing tour of the cultural heritage sites in Kathmandu. The sites include ancient Buddhist stupas, Hindu temple, and medieval royal palace square. You will explore about the Kathmandu valley civilization since the ancient time. This day tour will give you a better understanding of life in Kathmandu in the past and at present.
We will drive to Syabrubesi today. The journey starts early morning after breakfast. An eight hour drive through scenic middle hills highway takes us to Syabrubesi to start the trek tomorrow towards Langtang valley. Once we reach Syabrubesi, we will check in to a guest house and explore the place.
The very first day of our walk on the Tamang Heritage Trek starts today. We will walk to the beautiful village called Gatlang. It is a beautiful walk that brings spectacular views of the mountains along the trail. As soon as we start the walk, we find ourselves on an uphill walkthat brings us the majestic view of the Ganesh Himal range of the Himalaya. We trek towards the destination as we admire the view of the mountains and scenic surroundings.
Gatlang is a beautiful Tamang village where we can explore the cultural lifestyle of local people.
We start the walk for the day after enjoying the breakfast at Gatlang. The walk takes us to Tatopanitoday. It brings us wonderful scenic surroundings with lots of natural beauty.The day walk takes us past a hydro power project along the trail. The destination for the day walk today has a natural hot spring that is literally Tatopani in Nepali. Once we reach Tatopani, we can go for a refreshing natural hot spring bath. Later, we will have time to explore and enjoy the place.
The walk to Thuman today takes us to the highest elevation of the trek along the way. It is also the most spectacular day for the Himalayan view. We trek towards NagthaliDanda to be at the elevation of 3,165 meters above sea level and enjoy a breathtaking view of the mountains in the surroundings. Although the walk to Nagthali feels challenging, the experience of witnessing the view is simply rewarding. Later, we will trek all the way down to Thuman village to enjoy another great stay at a Tamang village. The stay at Thuman will allow us to experience the wonderful Tamang cultural heritage.
We are taking another great day of trekking on the Tamang Heritage Trek. The trek passes through exotic surroundings with the views of mountains and natural wonders. It will take us past beautiful sceneries, agricultural field, lush forests and spectacular landscapes. We are trekking to Briddim village today. The village is one of the most beautiful Tamang settlements in the region.
Once we reach Briddim, we can explore the timeless cultural wonders of the people living in the village. We will find the Tamang cultural tradition to be extremely fascinating and lifestyle simple and inspiring.
We are on the final day of the trek today. It is a short trekking day back to Syabrubesi. But in about just three hours of walk, we can see a lot of wonderful things along the way. After spending beautiful time trekking and exploring the cultural wonders in the region, we finally trek back to Syabrubesi. We take an easy day at Syabrubesi today relaxing and exploring the place as we have planned overnight stay here today.
We will take a bus ride back to Kathmandu in the morning. The drive again allows us to enjoy the scenic view along the highway. Once we reach Kathmandu and check into hotel, we will take easy time to wander and explore around.
We have come to the final day of the trip. The adventure to the Tamang Heritage Trek has brought you a wonderful experience and beautiful memories to treasure in life. We will drive you to the airport for your departure flight.
