Good people who put your safety first!
Unfortunately, I cannot tell you what an amazing trip the Annapurna Base Camp trek was, as I never completed it. But I can tell you how amazing my guide, Arun, was, and how safe he and the agency made me feel after twisting and spraining my ankle. My travel agent, Gopal, was in constant contact with me and was quick to organize my rescue and getting me to a doctor. My guide treated me, took care of me, followed me to the hospital and didn't let go of my, until I was discharged. Also, the agency quickly helped my arrange activities afterwards, that I could do without walking (jeep safari and canoeing in Chitwan), and both of them kept following up on my health long after. About the few days I did the trek, I can say, that the landscape with the surrounding mountain peaks is amazing, and the sunrise at Poon Hill was quite magical. There are A LOT of steps on this trail, though, but you should just take your time getting to the teahouses and enjoy the surroundings. I do recommend Beat Trekking and will definitely use them again, when I come back to Nepal to complete another trek.

If you want to make memories...
We are so happy we chose to do our trip with Beat trekking. Before we left, our guide Gopal met us at our hotel to listened to our requests. From there, he planned an amazing, personalised adventure which combined our wishes with his comprehensive knowledge of the area. During the trip, he made everything easy and fun! Whether it was sorting out wonderfully comfortable places to stay, showing us hidden gems of beautiful views or beating us at card games every night, we always had a smile on our faces. When one of our group became unwell, our guide was caring and didn’t waste time to make sure we all got back safely. We will be going back to Nepal and wouldn’t hesitate to get Gopal to guide us. I would recommend Beat trekking to anyone who wants a trip different to the stock standard group experience for a reasonable price!

Memories for a lifetime
I can absolutely recommend Beat Trekking for all those who would like to experience the magic of the Himalayas. Our guide Gopal did his best for us to enjoy this adventure (trekking to E.B.C.) even at the most demanding moments when it was quite difficult to enjoy it)). All the lodges booked were cosy and comfortable, with good food and facilities (we even had electric blankets at some places). Gopal was very attentive to our needs, checked on our health during the whole trip and adapted the tempo to our condition. I would also recommend to complement the adventure with a short trip to tranquil and happy Bhutan and visit the famous Tiger’s Nest. Unforgettable journey! I shall definitely come back to the Himalayas 🤍🤍🤍

Excellent - Successful Guided with Beat Trekking!!
Do you want a successful, excellent guided hike in Nepal? Choose Beat Trekking. We are Americans and lifelong hikers. We have known Gopal Neupane for over a decade. He has guided us successfully to Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Base Camp, Manaslu Base Camp/Tsum Valley, and around the Annapurna Circuit. Gopal the owner and founder of Beat Trekking is honest, speaks excellent English and intimately knows the trails and mountains of Nepal. Every trek we have been on with him and his aide has been some of the best experiences of our lives! In 2014 we were hiking the Annapurna Circuit with Gopal when an unexpected blizzard engulfed us while hiking through Throng La Pass. 43 hikers died that day. We hiked through a whiteout and while stressful, we were successful because we had a guide and porter who had hiked through that pass dozens of times. Oh, and by the way, we were in our late 60s at the time. It was just last April that we went to Everest Base Camp (one of the greatest hikes in the world) with Beat Trekking and had an amazing, successful hike. Yes, we are returning to Nepal and Beat Trekking next year. Nepal is amazing. So is Beat Trekking!
